Pet Peeve Alert
I recently had lunch at a very nice country club with three golf buddies.
As we finished eating, a teenage busboy was champing at the bit to clear our plates. I let the cleansing continue and then posed the question, “Does it bother anyone some of us were not done and the table was being cleared?”
Everyone had an opinion, but seemed to agree it was not proper. We were sitting in a new addition (which I’m sure cost millions) with fancy everything, and yet after all that money spent, no one thought it was important to train the staff.
